Edmonton wedding photographer / loose editorial engagement session

I’m absolutely obsessed with this engagement shoot I did in Edmonton. Originally, the couple had another location in mind, but it wasn’t available—story for another day! In their questionnaire, they mentioned that arches were important for them, so I knew exactly where to take them for their engagement photos.

Sometimes, couples don’t immediately see what we as photographers see - the hidden potential of certain locations. I’m so glad they trusted my vision, because this session turned out beautifully.

We ended up shooting at the University of Alberta, one of my favorite hidden gems for engagement photos in Edmonton. The arches inside the building added the perfect romantic and timeless mood they were looking for. The soft light, the elegant textures, and their genuine connection made this session one of my favorites.
